IntelliMicro Medical Co., Ltd., was established in March 2018 by several Chinese Americans,overseas Chinese, California Institute of Technology, Academician MARK SALMAN HUMAYUN (the father of the intelligent retina, recipient of the U.S. National Medal of Technology and Innovation in 2015), Academician YU-CHONG TAI (recipient of Robert Bosch Micro and Nano Electro Mechanical Systems Award 2015), Academician ROBERT GRUBBS (laureate of the 2005 Nobel Prize in Chemistry) and several experts. IntelliMicro is the only enterprise transformed by scientific research achievement in which Caltech holds equity outside the United States.

IntelliMicro combines brain-computer interface and AI technology, and is mainly engaged in the R&D and production of series of products in the field such as neuro-modulation and high-end ophthalmology. It is a medical innovation enterprise integrating medical science, MEMS, materials science, electronic engineering, ASIC chips, artificial intelligence, flexible electrodes, packaging and other high technologies.
